Day one of Track Nationals saw JetFuel get a medal right off the bat. I qualified 3rd in the pursuit (4:48), only 0.2sec out of second place… That means that I was out of the Gold medal round (1st & 2nd ride off), and I was into the Bronze medal round (3rd and 4th ride off) So I had to get a medal the hard way and win my final… This was one of the hardest efforts of my life, I can say that. I was down from lap 2 to lap 19… only in the last few laps, did I pull back the Quebecer, Jean-Michael Lachance and win the Bronze by 0.8sec… talk about close! Feels good to pull it off though!
