Not much to write about past week. A little bit of training and rest for one of our biggest racing blocks in the Calendar – The BC Superweek packed with Crit’s and short 3-day stage races for about 10 days, and then NRC Cascades Cycling Classic 6-day stage race right after. It will be a tough block, but we are all excited! The BC crits will be a good experience with huge crowds and pumping atmosphere right in the heart of one of the biggest cycling communities in Canada.
We fly out on Thursday and start racing Friday! Stay tuned for our race updates!

On the side note, small follow up from Nationals past weekend. As Evan has mentioned in last blog, after some misfortunes in the Road Race and the Crit, I stuck around to compete in the Sprint Challenge to test my legs against some of the daring sprinters in the country for a chance to win a wildcard entry to Pro Sprint Challenge during Pro-tour races in Quebec city and Montreal this September. Check out an amazing video bellow from last year’s event to see the format of the race. The race is in heats of four riders playing tactical mind games with full out blasts to the finish with two riders advancing to next round. Turns out I’m pretty good at this thing, and made my way to final heat with relative ease, where I end taking the win with a long race drag to the line. Now I’m all but thrilled to go heads up against the top Pro’s in the world! What an opportunity!
