Subway update
The Subway ‘cross was the last race in the Southern Ontario CX Series. It was drier than expected, the drying mud was more like clay. The course was fast and tricky, and the race was very hard.
Eric Box, LG-Club Chaussures, took his first win over the promising U23 Jarrod Stafford. I managed 3rd place.

Old Mill Subway ‘cross this Sunday
After Riverdale, where I finished 2nd, we have another TO cross. This time it’s at Old Mill Subway Stn. I’ll go for a step higher on the podium, and Everett will come back for his 2nd cross race in the youth category. Should be fun, the mud in that river valley never dries up.

Cyclocross season underway, Jet Fuel wins in Toronto.
With 2 races under my belt this year, I managed to win on my 3rd start last weekend at the ZM Oktoberfest ’cross in Toronto. Article and results here.
This Sunday racing returns to Toronto at Cedarvale Park near Eglinton and Bathurst, this will be the site of the Canadian Championships in 2010. Following that are the Toronto International UCI races at Etobicoke’s Centennial [...] -
Tour of University Heights, WIN!
Last Saturday Jamie Riggs and I lined up for this criterium at Jane and Finch in Toronto. The event also has an Ontario Youth Cup stage race (see below) in which Jet Fuel was well represented by our youth team.
The open race was hotly contested, but in the end Jamie controlled the 12 man breakaway by stringing them out on the [...] -

Rain, rain, and more rain…
In July it seemed to rain every day in Ontario.
Racing in the Ottawa GP was a very wet undertaking. It poured on us throughout the race. Bryson and I were both involved with crashes, but Jamie held on for a top-ten finish. The next day was the Provincial Crit, also in Ottawa. For some reason [...] -

Recent racing…
Things have been going well lately.
Our Under 23 and Junior rider’s have been getting good results at the Nationals, and CHIN saw another podium for Jet Fuel. DD is still in Italy, there will definitely be more stories from the pro six day, check the link!
